By downloading, installing, or using Dictum ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vitaly Gruver ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"), the individual developer of Dictum.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use Dictum on Mac computers that you own or control.
Dictum offers a 7-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, the App will require a valid license to continue operating.
The Developer reserves the right to modify the duration or terms of the free trial at any time without prior notice.
All purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, our authorized payment provider. By completing a purchase, you agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
Refunds are handled in accordance with LemonSqueezy's refund policy, which generally provides a 30-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, please contact us at support@neurohelp.pro and we will assist you through the process.
The Developer does not store your payment information. All billing and payment data is managed exclusively by LemonSqueezy.
Dictum, including its name, design, code, graphics, and all related intellectual property, is and remains the exclusive property of Vitaly Gruver. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
WhisperKit, used for on-device voice recognition, is the property of its respective owners and is used under its applicable license.
Dictum is a fully offline application. All voice processing is performed locally on your device using WhisperKit. Your voice data and transcriptions are never transmitted to any server, stored in any cloud, or shared with any third party by the Developer.
The App does not collect personal data, usage statistics, or any other information from your device.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. You use the App at your sole risk.
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The Developer's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
These Terms are effective until terminated. The Developer may terminate your license immediately and without notice if you breach any provision of these Terms.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies in your possession. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided under the refund policy in Section 4.
The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Dictum website at dictum.neurohelp.pro. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via the App or website.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
